Nino Gvetadze

Nino Gvetadze began her musical studies in her birthplace, Tbilisi. In 2008 she won second prize, the special press prize and the audience award at the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition. Two years later she received the prestigious Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award 2010. Gvetadze has performed with such conductors as Michel Plasson, Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Jaap van Zweden and with orchestras such as the Rotterdam Philharmonic, the Brussels Philharmonic and the Seoul Philharmonic. She also gives recitals throughout the world and performs regularly with a variety of ensembles and musicians. Along with violinist Frederieke Saeijs and cellist Maja Bogdanovicc, Nino Gvetadze has been a member of the Arosa Trio since 2008.

Besides the International Piano Competition held every three years, the Liszt Competition also hosts a number of other concerts and events.
